Oh, what a delight to see a token of love preserved for us to still enjoy and admire.

For your consideration is a c. 1850s Embossed Lace Valentine Card with Hand-painted Flowers and Hand-written Poem.

Condition: creasing at folds, many signs of wear, please see photos as they are hard to describe. Overall this Valentine is intact but has tape (ahhh) from its former owner. I believe a paper conservator can easily remove this if you’d like.
